...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ST. JOHNS...NORTHEASTERN
PUTNAM AND EAST CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 316 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Picolata, or 11 miles southeast of Green Cove Springs, moving south
at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and minor flooding due to heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
World Golf Village, Federal Point, Picolata, Spuds, Elkton, and
Bakersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
