...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BRADFORD...NORTHEASTERN
ALACHUA AND SOUTH CENTRAL UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sampson, or 10 miles southwest of Starke, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and minor flooding due to heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Worthington Spring, Worthington Springs, Beasley, New River,
Gainesville Airport, Sampson, Waldo, Hampton, La Crosse, and Brooker.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
