...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN COLES...SOUTHERN
EDGAR AND SOUTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM CDT...

At 100 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oakland, or 13 miles west of Paris, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Paris, Oakland, Kansas, Brocton, Vermilion, Edgar County Airport,
Isabel, Redmon, Sandford, Borton, and Walnut Point State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
