  nm...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
  Waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 40
  nm...

At 724 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 10 Mile Boxcars to near Cape Fear
Sea Buoy, moving east at 10 knots.

Locations impacted include...
10 Mile Boxcars, Sheepshead Rock, Dredge Wreck, A R 445, Cape Fear
Sea Buoy, 10 Mile Rocks, School House Reef, and Bald Head Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.

These storms may produce a waterspout. A Special Marine Warning may
be needed.
