The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central and central Kansas.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN MCPHERSON...HARVEY AND SOUTHWESTERN MARION
COUNTIES...

At 551 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hesston to 5 miles southwest of Whitewater, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Hesston, Halstead, North Newton, Moundridge, Sedgwick,
Whitewater, Goessel, Walton, and Newton Airport.
