...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN WILSON...NORTHWESTERN LABETTE...SOUTHWESTERN NEOSHO AND
NORTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES...

At 539 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Altoona, or
near Neodesha, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Neodesha, Fredonia, Cherryvale, Thayer, Altoona, Sycamore, Parsons
Tri City Airport, Lake Parsons, Buxton, Dennis, and Big Hill Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
