This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat index values around 105 degrees are expected this afternoon
through early evening across portions of central and southern
Kansas.

A few storms are possible across central and north-central Kansas
later this evening and tonight, with pockets of heavy rain and gusty
winds being the primary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat index values around 105 degrees are expected along and
southeast of a line from Salina to Lyons Tuesday afternoon.

Severe storms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening across
portions of central and south central Kansas. Damaging winds up to
70 mph and heavy rainfall are the primary concerns.

Off-and-on thunderstorm chances will continue Tuesday night through
next weekend.

Triple digit heat index values are possible across southern Kansas
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
