This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few storms are possible north of Interstate 70 late this evening
with pockets of heavy rain and gusty winds being the primary
concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat index values around 105 degrees are expected along and
southeast of a line from Salina to Lyons Tuesday afternoon. See
latest heat advisory for additional details.

Severe storms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening across
portions of central and south central Kansas. Damaging winds up to
70 mph, quarter size hail and heavy rainfall are the primary
concerns.

Storm chances will remain in the forecast for Wednesday through
Thursday evening. Strong to severe storms along with heavy rainfall
will be possible with this activity.

Triple digit heat index values are possible across southern Kansas
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
