This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms will continue across south central Kansas this
morning. Heavy rainfall is occurring and contributing to flash
flooding. A Flood Watch remains in effect through noon.

Additional storm development is expected through the afternoon
across central Kansas. The primary concern will remain heavy
rainfall.

A few storms are possible late tonight into Monday morning across
central Kansas. Nickel size hail and heavy rain are the primary
concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hot and at times humid conditions return for Monday, Tuesday, and
Thursday with afternoon through early evening heat indices
exceeding 105 degrees.

Thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday into next weekend. A
handful of strong to severe storms are possible throughout this time
period, along with areas of heavy rainfall.
