...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MADISON AND EAST CENTRAL
MORGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM CDT...

At 130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorms in the advisory area, with the strongest cell located
over southern Huntsville. All storms were moving very slowly
southeastward around 5 mph and will be capable of producing minor
flooding and ponding of water on roads.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 35-45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Madison, Moores Mill, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville,
Hazel Green, Owens Cross Roads, Alabama A And M University, Marshall
Space Flight Center, and University Of Alabama In Huntsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
