...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN COLBERT AND NORTHWESTERN
FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...

At 1236 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms centered near Iuka, and moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 35-45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cherokee, Red Rock, Pleasant Site, Malone, Posey Loop, Pogo, Mynot,
Mt Hester, Margerum, and Srygley Church.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
