...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL JACKSON AND EASTERN
MADISON COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 PM CDT...

At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Moores Mill, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 35-45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Huntsville, Moores Mill, Gurley, Woodville, New Market,
Alabama A And M University, Pleasant Groves, Paint Rock, Maysville,
and Hampton Cove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
