CENTRAL MECKLENBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Uptown Charlotte, or near Reedy Creek Park, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.
