At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles northeast of Huntersville to 14 miles
northwest of Uptown Charlotte to 4 miles southwest of Gastonia.
Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph, with isolated pockets of 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Charlotte, Huntersville, Concord, and Kannapolis.
