...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PICKENS COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 222 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Pickens, or near Jocassee Gorges, and another
strong storm near Sassafras Mountain. The storms were moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jocassee Gorges, Table Rock State Park, Sunset, Sassafras Mountain,
Rocky Bottom, and Pumpkintown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
