...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN CABARRUS...MECKLENBURG
AND NORTHEASTERN YORK COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 659 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles northeast of Huntersville to near
Uptown Charlotte to 9 miles south of Gastonia. Movement was southeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph, with isolated pockets of 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Charlotte, Huntersville, Concord, Rock Hill, and Kannapolis.
