...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Michigan,
  including the following counties, in south central Michigan,
  Calhoun, Eaton, Ingham and Jackson. In southwest Michigan, Barry.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 746 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain had fallen. Several gages from near Marshall to
    Jackson and Waterloo measured between 2.0 and 3.0 inches of
    rain.  This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lansing, Jackson, Charlotte, Albion, Mason, Hastings,
    Marshall, Battle Creek, Eaton Rapids, Williamston,
    Potterville, Leslie, Nashville, Bellevue, Stockbridge,
    Brownlee Park, Aurelius, Onondaga, Marengo and Bunker Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
