...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN RAWLINS AND
NORTHWESTERN DECATUR COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT
FOR RED WILLOW COUNTY...

At 449 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest of
Indianola, or 7 miles southeast of McCook, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported 50-60 mph winds 8 miles
         southeast of McCook.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Indianola around 455 PM CDT.
  Bartley around 505 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
