...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 515 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bartley, or 18 miles east of McCook, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Red
Willow County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.
