...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN GOVE COUNTY THROUGH 815
PM CDT...

At 746 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Quinter, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Brief, localized wind gusts up to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Gove
County.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 97 and
113.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
