This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Fog, locally dense is occurring along and north of Highway 36, some
dense fog is possible. Fog is forecasted to dissipate by mid morning.

There is a chance for severe storms by mid-afternoon today, and
lasting through the evening hours. The main threat will be strong
wind gusts up to 70 mph, but there could be a few instances of hail
up to two inches in diameter.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect this afternoon for counties from
Sheridan to Red Willow and east as heat indices may reach 105
degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

Tuesday, severe storms are possible again during the afternoon and
evening hours. There could be some isolated instances of strong wind
gusts to 65 mph and hail to 1.5 inches.

Wednesday, large hail and strong winds will be possible from very
early in the afternoon, through midnight.
