This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Storms are currently forecast to develop along a line from Goodland
to McCook this afternoon with large hail and damaging winds the main
threat. Additional storms perhaps severe look to move west to east
across the area this evening with damaging winds the main threat;
although a tornado is possible across Hitchcock, Red Willow, Decatur
and Norton counties.


A Heat Advisory remains in effect this afternoon for counties from
Sheridan to Red Willow and east as heat indices may reach 105
degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

A conditional threat for severe weather is forecast for Tuesday
depending on if any storms can overcome a strong cap. If they can
develop during the afternoon hours then large hail and damaging winds
would be the primary hazards.

Wednesday, large hail and strong winds will be possible from very
early in the afternoon, through midnight.

Spotter activation will be needed this afternoon and evening.
