For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Widespread showers and thunderstorms continue today as deep monsoonal
moisture continues streaming in from the south. These storms will be
capable of producing heavy rain, frequent lightning, gusty winds, and hail.
A Flood Watch remains in effect for areas south of I-70 to account for the
increased threat of high rainfall rates and flash flooding. This activity
will continue into the overnight before drier air begins moving in for
tomorrow. Look for a downturn in coverage and intensity of storms tomorrow
afternoon, with the higher terrain most likely to see impacts. Sunny skies
and dry conditions are expected Wednesday onward.
