...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN OURAY AND CENTRAL
MONTROSE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 600 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles north of Norwood, or 23 miles southwest of Montrose, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Ouray
and central Montrose Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
