...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MESA COUNTY
THROUGH 330 PM MDT...

At 255 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Palisade, or 13 miles east of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cameo.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 44 and 59.
 Colorado 65 between mile markers 54 and 61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
