...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL EAGLE AND
SOUTHEASTERN GARFIELD COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Glenwood Springs, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Glenwood Springs, Shoshone, and Dotsero.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 111 and 137.
 Colorado 82 between mile markers 1 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
