...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL DELTA AND
NORTHWESTERN GUNNISON COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 649 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Paonia, or 39 miles northeast of Montrose, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bowie and Ragged Mtn.

This includes Colorado 133 between mile markers 13 and 19, and
between mile markers 28 and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
