...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL DOLORES COUNTY
THROUGH 730 PM MDT...

At 653 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Dove Creek, or 22 miles southeast of Monticello,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dove Creek.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 56 and 69.
 U.S. Highway 491 in Utah near mile marker 17.
 Colorado 141 between mile markers 1 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
