...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 415 PM MDT...

At 338 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Meeker, or 41 miles northwest of Glenwood Springs, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker and Buford.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 28 and 45.
 Colorado 64 near mile marker 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
