...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the
  following county, Montrose.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may
  become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Up to 1.0 inch of rain has already fall today.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.6 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain may result in flash
    flooding and minor flooding across low lying areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
