...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN PHELPS...KEARNEY AND SOUTH CENTRAL BUFFALO
COUNTIES...

At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Axtell, or 10
miles south of Kearney, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Phelps, Kearney and south central Buffalo Counties.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 262 and 280.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for south central
Nebraska.

building.
