...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT YAVAPAI COUNTY THROUGH 115 PM
MST...

At 1250 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Chino Valley. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Woodchute Mountain, Mingus Mountain, and Chino Valley.

This includes State Route 89A near mile marker 332, and between mile
markers 334 and 339.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
