...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT AREAS EAST OF PRESCOTT VALLEY
IN YAVAPAI COUNTY THROUGH 330 PM MST...

At 244 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Yavapai County Fairgrounds, or near Prescott Valley, moving east at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Yavapai County Fairgrounds, Mountainview Park, Mingus Mountain,
Cottonwood Airport, Prescott Valley, and Clarkdale.

This includes State Route 89A between mile markers 324 and 338.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
