...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. Heavy rain
  has moved out of the advisory area at this time.

* WHERE...Along and 10 miles north of the Interstate 40 corridor
  from Joseph City to the Apache County line.

* WHEN...Until 1215 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
  imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1142 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has moved
    east of the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing in the
    advisory area due to earlier heavy rains. Between 0.75 and
    1.25 inches of rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Leroux Wash, Digger Wash, Lithodendron Wash, Puerco River,
    Porter Tank Draw, Tanner Wash, West Twin Wash, Joseph City
    Wash, Little Colorado River, Little Lithodendron Wash, East
    Twin Wash and Wildhorse Wash.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Holbrook, Sun Valley, Joseph City, Rosedale Heights.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Interstate 40 between mile markers 277 and 306.
    State Route 77 between mile markers 396 and 402.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
