...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON FOR
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN APACHE COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Apache County from near Concho east
  to Lyman Lake to the New Mexico state line.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
  imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1157 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Concho Creek, Mineral Creek, Oso Draw, Lower Lyman Ditch,
    Coyote Creek, Vigil Run, Carrizo Wash, Little Colorado River,
    Wildcat Creek, Jarvis Wash, Carnero Creek and Big Hollow
    Wash.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lyman Lake State Park, Concho, Lions Park.
  - This includes the following highways...
    State Route 61 between mile markers 361 and 377.
    Highway 180 191 between mile markers 372 and 391.

    flood safety.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
