.DISCUSSION...
Mostly dry conditions this afternoon and evening, though isolated to
scattered showers with an occasion rumble of thunder are possible.
Highest chances are in West Central GA and decrease as you move
North and East. No significant widespread accumulations are expected
with this, most areas seeing less than a quarter inch of rain,
though locally higher amounts are possible. Thunderstorms chances
return tomorrow afternoon with slightly higher chances and
accumulations, but still only up to about an additional quarter
inch. Minimum RH values will hover around 50 percent today and
tomorrow. Winds out of the South and Southwest for much of the area
through tomorrow except for Northeast GA where winds will swing out
of the N and NW tomorrow. Heat indices are expected to remain
elevated and near 105 degrees into the weekend.
