No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
A moist airmass will remain in place through Saturday, bringing
scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, particularly
during the afternoon and evening hours. Rainfall totals will largely
range from a tenth to a half inch, though locally heavy rainfall
can be expected in thunderstorms. Minimum RH values will largely
range from 50-65 percent. Hot afternoon heat index values as high
as 105-107 degrees can be expected. Winds today will be primarily
SW at 4-8 mph.
