...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LUNA COUNTY THROUGH 730
PM MDT...

At 658 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Deming, moving west at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Deming, Rock Hound State Park, and Spring Canyon State Park.

This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 77 and
96.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
