...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL GRANT AND WEST
CENTRAL LUNA COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM MDT...

At 510 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northeast of Hachita, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Grant
and west central Luna Counties.

This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 52 and
59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
