...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL DONA ANA COUNTY
THROUGH 345 PM MDT...

At 319 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles southeast of Talavera, moving northwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Las Cruces, NMSU Main Campus, Mesilla, Fairacres, Talavera, High
Valley, East Mesa, San Pablo, Northeast Las Cruces, Dripping Springs,
Aguirre Springs, Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park, Portions of Organ
Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument, and Soledad Canyon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 138 and 149.
 Interstate 25 in New Mexico between mile markers 3 and 4.
 Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 163 and 166.
