At 747 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sunshine, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Deming, Sunshine, Rock Hound State Park, and Spring Canyon State
Park.
This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 79 and
93.
