...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western Texas, including the following
  county, El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 847 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 inches is expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Central El Paso, East El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Mission
    Valley, Fort Bliss, Biggs Field and Fort Bliss Northeast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
