.DISCUSSION...Marine layer is a bit less robust this morning,
topping out around 2000-2500 feet but still keeping much of northern
Humboldt/Del Norte in the clouds at elevation. Cooler conditions
expected again today with increasing moist NW flow, keeping RH
values above 50%. Gusts up to 15 mph possible with afternoon
daytime heating. Winds may become more W in the afternoon while
being funneled into the Klamath River Valley, briefly SW in the
early evening. Marine stratus to have a lesser inland extent
overnight. Offshore flow should enhance warming and drying,
tamping down the marine layer Friday morning to allow for a
quicker mix out.
