...HOT TEMPERATURES AND EXTREMELY LOW RH WILL INCREASE FIRE
DANGER FOR ALL INTERIOR ZONES THROUGH THE WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...A building heatwave will begin to reach full
strength today with highs beginning to climb above 100 in the
interior. By Wednesday, highs will be solidly around 110 for
valleys away from marine influence. Extremely dry RH will
accompany the heat with minimum RH below 10 percent. Overnight
conditions are already showing little relief with poor recoveries
through the week of 30 to 40 percent. Strong northeast winds
gusting up to 25 mph are evident this morning along the rim of the
Sacramento Valley bringing critical fire weather conditions to
southeast Lake County over the next 48 hours. Similar though more
isolated northeast winds can be expected each night by Wednesday
morning across high terrain, especially in the the Klamath
Mountains. With such dry conditions, even gentle terrain winds
will promote periods of critical fire weather each afternoon,
especially within wind channeled valleys.
