...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Little Blue River at Lees Summit Road affecting Jackson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Blue River at Lees Summit Road.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low-lying areas adjacent to the river
  begin to flood including portions of the Little Blue Trace Trail.
  At 22.0 feet, Little Blue Trace Trailhead parking lot near Phelps
  Road begins to flood.
  At 24.0 feet, High water approaches residential yards south of
  Yuma Court near 51st Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling to 8.5 feet tomorrow
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
