* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois...
  Western Whiteside County in northwestern Illinois...
  Northern Henry County in northwestern Illinois...
  Southeastern Cedar County in east central Iowa...
  Scott County in east central Iowa...
  Northeastern Muscatine County in east central Iowa...
  Southern Clinton County in east central Iowa...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 643 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Walcott, or 8
  miles northwest of Davenport, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Davenport, Bettendorf, Eldridge, Long Grove, Donahue, Rock Island
  Arsenal, Scott County Park, Park View, Davenport Municipal
  Airport, and Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds around 650 PM CDT.
  Le Claire, Hampton, Princeton, Riverdale, McCausland, Panorama
  Park, Illiniwek Forest Preserve, and Pleasant Valley around 655 PM
  CDT.
  East Moline, Port Byron, Rapids City, Cordova, Campbells Island,
  Princeton Wildlife Area, and Fishermans Corner around 700 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Rock
Creek  Park, Folletts, Rock Creek Marina and Campground, Camanche,
Hillsdale, Joslin, Erie, Albany, Newton Corners, Fenton and Spring
Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 5.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 277 and 306.
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 29.
 Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 18.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 1 and 24.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 18.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and east central Iowa.
