Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

There will be a chance for isolated to scattered thunderstorms
tonight. There is still a possibility that some of these storms
may be strong to severe, especially west of the Mississippi River.
The main threats from any strong to severe thunderstorm would be
heavy rain, large hail to the size of quarters and damaging winds
to 60 MPH. There is some chance for flash flooding from these
storms overnight, especially in areas that have already received
heavy rainfall earlier on Friday.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Several chances for showers and storms will be seen next week, with
heavy rain possible. It is too soon to determine the severe risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

There is a low chance that spotter activation will be needed
tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: East at 30 to 40 MPH.
