...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the
following rivers in Illinois...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at Muscatine affecting Rock Island, Louisa,
  Mercer and Muscatine Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Saturday evening at 1030 PM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Muscatine.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water affects Mississippi Drive at
  Mulberry Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 20.3 feet next
    Friday, July 05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
