...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Iowa...Illinois...
Missouri...

  Mississippi River at Keokuk LD19 affecting Hancock, Lee and Clark
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday afternoon at 100 PM
CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Keokuk LD19.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water affects low lying buildings in
  Warsaw and affects County Road 12.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:10 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    evening to 19.0 feet early Saturday morning. It will then
    fall Saturday evening. It will rise to 19.0 feet Monday
    morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
