...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Iowa...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Ill. City LD16 affecting Rock Island and
  Muscatine Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/quadcities.

The next statement will be issued by Saturday morning at 1145 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Ill. City LD16.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Water floods Andalusias Second Street in
  the unprotected area. Water is also at the foundations of several
  homes in Midway Beach.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening and continue rising to 18.4 feet Friday, July
    05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
